♡ Make Up Mayhem Day 10: Get The Look: Crystal Reed ♡

Hi guys,

I'm so excited for this post! To make it short I absolutely love Crystal Reed, she's gorgeous and definitely one of my favorite actresses! I'm a huge Teen Wolf fan and I can't wait for season 3 aka June 3rd hurry up! Although I am pretty upset that Colton Haynes won't be in this season but he's in Arrow so I should start watching that! I'm sorry for babbling but I'm just so excited! If you haven't watched Teen Wolf yet then go watch it! I'm probably going to rewatch the whole series this weekend, just saying.... I'll definitely make a post dedicated to the season 3 premiere. Anyways back to Crystal! She's gorgeous and I love her style. She looked amazing at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards and I wanted to share her look with you guys! Let's get started....

zimbio.com

-Her make up is super natural so there's not really much to say!
-Start off by of course priming your face! Then go ahead and apply your foundation and set that with some setting powder.
-Fill in your eyebrows using a pencil like the Anastasia Brow Wiz.
-For blush she's wearing a very light pink color like the Maybelline Bouncy Blush in Candy Coral!
-For lips she's also wearing a very light pink almost nude color! Like MAC Myth!
-I don't think she's wearing eye shadow but you can just apply a beige color all over your lid.
-For lashes, start off by curling your lashes and then apply a volumizing mascara. I'd choose the Benefit They're Real mascara because it's amazing!
-Apply some black liquid eyeliner on your upper lash line! I like the ELF one!
-Now you're done with the make up! Told you it's simple!

stylebistro.com

-For her dress Crystal is wearing a super cute red lace dress with nude underneath! I love that dress but I found an even cuter one!! The Azura Mini Dress for $32.99! It's so cute and it's the perfect spring dress!

-For her shoes she's just wearing nude pointy toe shoes and I chose some heels from Charlotte Russe for $28.50!

-As for her clutch, you can just choose any clutch really!

Hope you enjoyed this post! I know it was short but I just loved her look and wanted to share!

♡ Make Up Mayhem Day 9: All About Hair+ DIY Hair Masks♡

Hi guys,

Today's post is going to be all about hair! All the way from seventh grade till my freshman year I would straighten my hair every single day. That damaged my hair sooo much and now I'm on a journey to restore it, it's not easy! So I decided to use my past experience to help you guys so you don't damage your hair like I did! My hair is long and I'm naturally a brunette but a few months ago I ombred my hair. If you didn't know ombre hair is dying the tips of your hair blonde, which means bleaching. Which is bad for your hair. So yeah, it'll be a long journey to healthy hair but I have to do it!

Brunettes: If you're a brunette and you want to enrich your hair color then put coffee on it! I know it sounds weird but trust me it works pretty well. Also use a shampoo and conditioner just for brunettes John Frieda Brilliant Brunette.

Blondes: If you're a non natural blonde and your hair sometimes turns this orangey or sometimes even green color then go out and buy some purple shampoo. Purple shampoo works on blonde hair because yellow and purple are opposites on the color wheel. I personally use purple shampoo and it makes my hair look great! I recommend the Clairol Shimmer Lights for blonde and silver hair that you can get at Sally's for $8.49. For a hair mask try mixing 1 table spoon of honey with 3 table spoons of extra virgin olive oil!

Red Hair: If you died your hair red then you should probably use a color protection shampoo like the Quantum Riveting Reds! Don't use Morrocan oil on your hair because it will most likely strip off the color. Don't wash your hair every day or the color will fade faster.

Damaged or dry hair: This is going to be a long one! Ok so for hair masks try mixing avocado with some yogurt and mix it together. Leave that on your hair for a good 20 minutes and then wash it out. To repair the damage you'll need a good deep conditioner/hair mask so I recommend the Macadamia Deep Mask! This next one is important try to stay away from heat or use a good heat protecting spray! Don't wash your hair too much and in between washes you can use a dry shampoo, I highly recommend the Batiste Dry Shampoo, of course!! Also use oils in your hair, I like the Morrocan oil but feel free to play around and find your favorite!

Wavy hair: Some of you will probably guess this but sea salt spray! It'll be your best friend. If you want to make it at home then check out this recipe! But if you just want to purchase it then try the Not Your Mother Beach Babe spray!

Curly hair: If you have curly hair you'll probably need a detangler and for that I recommend the It's a 10 Miracle Leave In Product! You might need something to tame your curls as well and I'd use the Rusk Silk Curls line! Also remember to use a wide tooth comb to brush out your hair!

Straight hair: Straight hair is very easy to manage in my opinion! Any shampoo works and any products work!

Hope you enjoyed this post! If you want further help then I suggest talking to your hair stylist because I'm not a professional and everything I know, I know through experience!

♡ Make Up Mayhem Day 8: Colors Of The Rainbow Tag♡

Hi guys,

Omg, already halfway done with make up mayhem! I saw this Colors of the Rainbow tag on Ingrid's channel and decided to do it because it looks like fun... This tag was created by Becky, basically you're given a couple colors and you're supposed to relate it with a beauty item! I tag everyone who reads this!

Red
For red I chose my Rimmel London Lasting Finish Lipstick in Jet Set Red. It's such a nice catchy red and I never get sick of it. It lasts for a pretty long time!
Orange
For orange, I chose my Maybelline One By One mascara, It gives me nice natural looking lashes!
Yellow
For yellow I chose my Clinique Dramatically Different Lotion, I really like it. It's super his hydrating and doesn't have a smell, which I like for facial lotions. This one is for Dry-Dry Combo skin if you have Oily Combo-Oily skin then you're supposed to use the Dramatically Different Gel!
Green
For green I chose my Yes to Cucumber Facial Towelettes which are great for cleaning my skin and taking off make up!
Blue
I choose my Morrocan Argan Oil by Organix for blue! It smells so nice!
Indigo
I chose my It's a 10 miracle leave in product, not too sure if this counts as indigo but whatever!
Violet
Aussie Hair Insurance leave in conditioner! I love the smell of Aussie products but I'm trying to stop  buying Aussie products because they do in fact test their products on poor little animals!
Pink
For pink I, of course, had to choose the Batiste Dry Shampoo in floral. I love it so much and repurchase it all the time!
Multicolored
I had no idea what to put for this so I just chose my eeyore socks that I got from Disney forever ago!

I tag everyone reading this!

♡ Make Up Mayhem Day 7: DIY Brush Holder♡

Hi guys,

I've seen so many brush holders recently and i thought I'd jump in the bandwagon and do my own DIY on a summer brush holder! This is so cute! It decorates my desk so nicely and makes it look like I'm more organized than I actually am. It's also super duper easy! Anyways let's get started! Hope you enjoy this!

What you need:
-A patterned container. (Any pattern will do, if you want you can also paint the container with a design of your choice)... I don't remember where I got mine!
-Seashells... I'm using real seashells but I'm sure you can find some at Michaels or Home Goods or any craft store of your choice.

Step 1: Fill your container with the seashells.
Step 2: Put your brushes in the container!

♡ Make Up Mayhem Day 5: Small Haul ♡

Hi guys,

I went to Sephora and Victoria's Secret and I got a couple things and decided to share with you guys! I'm so excited about everything I purchased because they're all things I've been meaning to get for a while now, well for the most part anyways! If you want me to review any one of these then just let me know. I payed for all of this with my own money! Let's get started!

Let's started off with what I got at Sephora! First off I picked up the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in the color Perversion, which is just a black color. I tried this out today and I like it a lot! It's pretty pigmented but I can't review it just yet because I've only had it for not even a day! This costed $19.00 at Sephora.

I got the Bare Minerals Flawless Application Face Brush. It's really soft! This was $22.00.

I got the Benefit Hoola bronzer in the color Hoola, which I haven't tried out yet but I've ever so many YouTubers rave about this! This was $28.00
I got the Smashbox Try It Kit, which I thought was a really good deal because I get to try out 5 different products for only $19.00! This kit has the Photo Finish Foundation Primer, Photo Finish Lid Primer, Full Exposure Mascara, Limitless Eye Liner in Onyx and the Lip Enhancing Gloss in Illume. I'm so excited to try out these products! I've already used the Photo Finish Lid Primer and will probably buy it when I get more money!
Last but definitely not least.... I finally got the Naked 2 palette that I've been dying to get since like forever! I am so happy about this product and I've already used it today! The colors are absolutely gorgeous and I really like Half Baked, Chopper and Pistol! I'm going to be playing around with this for the next few days! This costed $50.00!
Since I'm a beauty insider and it's my birthday month, Sephora gave me a little gift with a mini They're Real mascara and a mini Watts Up Highlighter! I love the mascara and will definitely purchase it!

Now onto Victoria's Secret! I took advantage of the 4 for $20 sale and bought for items for only $20! I got a bronzer, a liquid eyeliner and two lip tints. My lip tints are in the colors Knockout Red and Boudoir Pink, I love these! They're very pigmented and long lasting. (Sorry for the lack of light)
My last product is from Lush and it's the No Drought dry shampoo! If you saw my products I want to try out post then you know that I really wanted this! I got a tiny one and it smells really nice! This was $6.95.

That's it for my haul, I know it's pretty small but I just wanted to share! Happy May!

♡ Make Up Mayhem Day 4: Bella Thorne MTV Movie Awards Make Up and Outfit Remake ♡

Hi guys,

I know what you're probably thinking.. Another remake? And yes this is another remake! But I absolutely love this look and I promise that the next fews looks will totally be worth it! If you want to know how to get Bella's look just stay tuned!

justjared.com
-As always just start off by applying your favorite primer to prep your skin!
-If you look close enough you will notice that Bella actually has some freckles and some visible pores. If you also have some visible pores I recommend using the Benefit Porefessional! If you have freckles and want to cover them up then use a concealer over that. You can also use concealer to cover dark circles under your eyes. I use the MAC Pro Long Wear. For concealer, I usually use one shade lighter than my skin tone.
-After concealing your skin just use some foundation! After foundation just set that with a powder. I like the Neutrogena Skin Clearing Mineral Powder.
-For brows, just fill in your brows using a brow powder or if you don't own a brown powder then you can use a matte eyeshadow the same color as your eyebrows.
-Now apply an eyelid primer! On the inner corner use a white shimmery eyeshadow, like the Rimmel London Glam Ice. Beneath the lower lash line and the rest of the eye, trace with a gold color using Maybelline Color Tattoo in Gold Rush.
-If you usually don't use fake lashes often then this part might sound difficult but it's not don't worry! Using some small scissors, maybe nail scissors trim some fake eyelashes. You're going to apply the eyelashes on the outer lash line. You can use the Sonya Kashuk Full Eyelashes. To learn how to put on the fake lashes then I recommend looking it up on YouTube, you'll find a much more detailed video on it then just me typing about it!
-Line your upper lash line using some black liquid liner! Blend your real lashes with the fake one using mascara.
-Now for the lips she's just using a nude gloss. You can use the Revlon Colorburst Lipgloss in Bellini.
-That's it for make up!

http://www.usmagazine.com/
-Bella's wearing a Giorgio Armani suit.
-For her blazer she's wearing a nice cream color, you can go for a Open Cutaway Blazer from Forever 21, priced at $32.80. Underneath just wear a tank top!
-For pants you can just wear some normal jeans! I'd go for something like the Artist Crop Jeans from American Eagle, priced at $49.95.
-For shoes she's wearing an Emporio Armani priced at $795! I'm sorry but I couldn't find a dupe of this so i decided to show you guys, even cuter shoes! These Metallic Trim Slingbacks from Forever 21 priced at $27.80.
-For jewelry she's Isharya. You can just pair this with whatever jewelry you want basically!

♡ Make Up Mayhem Day 3: Summer Must Haves ♡

Hi guys,

Welcome to make up mayhem day 3! Today I'll be doing a summer must haves list! I don't really have much to say right now so let's just get straight to the point!

1. Some tanning oil, of course! We all want to get mega tan during the summer and tanning oil makes the whole process faster! I love Banana Boat tanning oils because they have this really nice banana scent, try to go for things with higher SPF if you have lighter skin or burn really easily.

2. Sea Salt Spray! After you leave the beach just comb your hair and spray this all over your hair, your hair will have some gorgeous beachy waves in seconds! The one pictured is the Not Your Mother's Sea Salt Spray!

3. Baby Lips, or any lip balm really. You want to keep your lips soft! Also, if you're the kind of person who loves to wear lipstick but think it's too much for supper then try out some balm stains!

4.This one is obvious but a swimsuit! The one pictured is a bandeau top bikini by Victoria's Secret. I love mix and matching swim suit because I think it looks cuter but it's your choice! Pick something that you'll feel comfortable wearing and that you can be active in!

5.Cute sandals to go with your cute summer outfits! Sandals are a nice alternative to flip flops, if you're going to a formal occasion and don't want to wear flip flops then you should definitely wear sandals. The one pictured is by Lucky Brand.

6. Sun Screen... This one is obvious, again. You need to be wearing sun screen at all times! Too much sun exposure is dangerous for your skin and can lead to a lot of issues. So save yourself the trouble and just wear sunscreen.

7. A beach tote of course! This is to carry all of your stuff to the beach, you don't want to take a very nice bag cause the sand and salt water will probably ruin it!

8. Deodorant, it's hot and you will sweat. If you don't want to smell then use deodorant! Also if you like perfume then maybe use body mists during the summer! They smell amazing and I love them for summer time!

9. Sunglasses, you want to protect your eyes from the sun! Plus sunglasses are super stylish, they're one of my favorite accessories!

10. Something to read while you're outside, tanning or at the beach! For summer reading I recommend The Summer I Turned Pretty By Jenny Han! It's so good, I read all the books! I literally read this in two days.

11. Some lotion with Aloe to relieve your skin if you're sunburnt or just after being in the sun for a while.

12. A cute dress, I love this dress cause it's cute and floral print. Summer is great for wearing dresses! This dress is from Nordstrom by Lucca Couture.

13. Instead of wearing foundation try to go for a tinted moisturizer or bb cream. It's better for your skin cause it won't clog your pores. The one pictured is the Nars Tinted Moisturized, if you're interested in this then check out my review on it!

That's it for this post! Hope you guys enjoyed this post and be on the lookout for more makeup mayhem posts!

♡ Make Up Mayhem Day 1: Products I've Used Up ♡

Hi guys!

rsyqh.blogspot.com

I'm so excited to finally be doing a products I've used up post because I've been meaning to do it for a while now. I was inspired by Ingrid to finally make this post! I've been gathering a few products and now I have a couple.. I won't be showing that many products on this post because I usually throw out products that I've used up so I'm thinking of making a products I've repurchased soon! I love these posts because it's like several reviews in one and you know the review is sincere since they used up the whole product! Also you might notice that there aren't a lot of products that I don't like and that's because I usually only buy something after I read reviews or if someone recommends it to me! There are some products that aren't show in the pictures because I finished them before I started keeping my empty containers and they'll be featured, but I have used it! So yeah.... Let's get started!

Ok I guess I'll start off with my favorite product in this whole entire post. The St. Ives Naturally Clear Apricot Scrub... this product is on my holy grail skin care products list and I recommend it to everyone! I have dry skin so I don't really have problems with acne as much as I do with flakiness. This product is supposed to exfoliate to prevent blemishes and clean pores. I wash my face with this at night usually and I focus it on my nose area because that's where I get blackheads and flakiness. This product is amazing! I will literally see results the minute I was this off! I've already repurchased this and I'm pretty sure that the packaging on this changed so if you're going to go purchase this, you'll have to remember the name not the packaging! In other news, go buy this! It's only three dollars at Target and you can find this at any drug store!

Another product on this that is miraculous is the Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream for dry, sensitive skin. I bought this at Costco, because it's cheaper there and it also comes in a bigger size than normal or you get two for a cheaper price! A few months ago I had really bad allergies, I'm talking REALLY bad... I had rash looking things all over my arms and I was so insecure that I would always wear long sleeve shirts. I went to a doctor and she recommended Cetaphil, after using this for about a month, the rash was gone. So thank you Cetaphil. This also moisturizes my skin so well! If you have oily skin they also have a version for oily skin. This product is about ten dollars and it's so worth it!

If you read my 'Favorite Perfumes' post then you know how much I love this so I won't go too much into detail. It's the Marc Jacobs Daisy Perfume! This smells amazing and I find myself repurchasing it again and again and again. It's such a sweet smell. I love the packaging as well. This exact one with 50 mL is about $65.00!

This is the one of the only make up items and I'm sorry for that! I don't go through make up as fast as I do other things! This is the Maybelline Lash Stiletto Mascara.. this works really well! If you want really long lashes without clumping then this is the mascara for you. I really like mascaras that make my lashes look naturally long and this does that! If you also like that then this is the product for you. This is about seven dollars at any drug store.

This is another one of my favorite products, it's the Batiste Dry Shampoo in floral & flirty blush. I'm on a journey to grow out my hair and making it healthier so I'm trying not to wash it or put heat on it everyday so I'm trying out different dry shampoos and this is one of the first ones I tried. And right off the bat I really liked this one. I just put it on my hair and let it sit for a while then I blend it in with my fingers. It gives my hair a little extra volume and makes it look like I just washed it! It's great! I got this at Ulta for nine dollars!

I've been using this shampoo (and the conditioner too but I threw it out, oops) for so long! It's the Bed Head Some Like It Hot Heat & Humidity Resistant Shampoo. A few weeks ago I actually stopped using this and switched to a shampoo and conditioner just for colored hair. The smell of this shampoo is really great and the size also! It lasts will last you months! Even though I've been using this for a long time, I'm not actually sure that it did anything to my hair. After switching shampoos I found my hair a lot healthier so I will actually not repurchase this anymore. I would use this because I used to be  a heat-a-holic and I would convince myself that using this made it ok. So I'm actually not a big fan of this and don't find that it's very much worth the price. I might give this a second chance in the future but just not right now. This is about twenty dollars a bottle if I'm not mistaken.

This is actually a sample, but I decided to put this on here anyways! It's the Sephora Age Defy Moisture Cream SPF 15. First of all, let me state the obvious and say that I do not have wrinkles! I'm a teenager, in case you didn't know. I actually liked this though and if I were to purchase this I would get the one in the pink container because it's just a normal moisturizer. The reason why I will not be purchasing this is because it's 20 dollars and I didn't find it to be so great that it's worth that price. For now I'll just stick to my Clinique Dramatically Different Lotion!

I'm not even sure if they still make this because I got it last year, I'm pretty sure, at the VS Semi Annual sale and I got quite a few of them because the smell is literally heavenly. It's the Victoria's Secret Balancing Body Wash in the scent Honeysuckle & White Patchouli. This has such a relaxing smell and it makes me feel super calm. If they don't make this anymore I really hope they bring it back because I love it! I hate how Victoria's Secret always discontinues their best products! I have another product in this that I think is discontinued. Boo you VS!

I don't know why I included this in this post but oh well! This is not in the pictures! It's the Sundown Naturals Fish Oil. Not much to say about this, I don't know if it's doing what it's supposed to but you know I don't have any heart problems so it must be working right? They don't have the fishy taste like most Omega 3 pills so that's good.

This is another product that I am very sad to say is discontinued and it makes me upset every time I look at it because I only have 1 more bottle of it :( It's the VS Nourishing Body Lotion with Organic Shea Butter. This line altogether was my favorite Pink one ever! It was the one they made to promote recycling and vegan products! It smells so nice and I love moisturizers with pumps, tubes just get messy and you get more than you want at a time and it's just messy like I said!

This is the Clean and Clear Fast Clearing Spot Treatment. I feel like the first few uses it worked really well and made pimples go away but after a few uses it didn't work anymore. I have no idea why! Mine came with the Advantage Acne Control Kit that I actually gave to one someone else. The whole kit was 17 dollars.

This one is a product that I really liked! This product is not shown in the pictures. It's the Clinique Take The Day Off Make Up Remover. I really like this, my eye make up literally glided off with this. I just put it on a cotton ball and took my make up off! It's amazing! I've repurchased this but I won't be buying it again because it is pretty expensive for an eye makeup remover and I think there's drug store ones who do just the same! It's priced at 18 dollars.

Tressemé Tres Two Spray. It did what it was supposed to do! It held my curls the whole day so I guess that's good! I love the size because it lasts so long! I don't know the price of this but you can easily find it at Target!

VS So Sexy Straight & Silky Shampoo, Conditioner and Styling Mist. This is not shown in the pictures. This made my hair feel really soft and it looked really nice. But it's not much different from any other shampoo and conditioner that I've used before. I bought the three of them on the 3/$24 sale!

Some of you are probably surprised at this but yes I did actually finish a lipstick. That sounds so weird to say. It's the MAC Siss Lipstick! I love it so much, it's a nude color and I'm definitely going to repurchase this, I love MAC lipsticks! They're priced at 15 dollars.

I didn't finish this one but I'm almost done with it and it's my second one so I decided to include it in this post. This might be cheating but whatever! It's the Neutrogena Skin Clearing Mineral Powder. I'm not sure what shade this is because when I opened this I ripped off the name of the shade. I love this because it's super light on my skin and I don't feel like I'm wearing any make up. I did stop using this though because I switched to the MAC Studio Fix Powder! But this is a great drugstore brand that will not break you out! It's around 11 dollars.

This is another one that's not shown in the pictures. It's the Clean and Clear Morning Burst Facial Cleanser. I used this in the morning and I felt super awake not only by the water, but also by the refreshing scent. It smells really nicely and it cleans my skin nicely. It gets me started for my day! It's priced at 5 dollars!

Last but definitely not least, the Lush Cosmetic Warrior Face Mask. I love this so much! It makes my skin feel refreshed and renewed. The only bad side about this is the nasty smell, it smells like a wet dog and feels really funny. It has onion in the mix so that's probably why. Despite the smell I really like it. I'm not really sure that this was made for my skin type but I use it anyways! So far I've liked every Lush product I've tried! I bought this for seven dollars!

I hope you liked this post! I probably don't have as many products listed as most would have but I feel like this is a good amount for the past month or so! Hope this helped you! I'll be posting a lot this month due to makeup MAYhem! I'd love to see what products you've used up as well!
