♡ January Favorites ♡

Hello February! January has flown by and now it's time to welcome another month!

Beauty
-I've been out in the sun a lot during my summer and one of my must haves is my Baby Lips, the blue one, called Quenched. It has a nice citrus smell and it has SPF 2O!
-I also have to protect my hair from further damage so to protect it from the sun I've been using my L'Oréal Ever Pure UV Protect Spray, I might have mentioned this in my last favorites post but I highly recommend this!
-I ran out of exfoliant and decided to be daring and try out a new one so I picked up the Neutrogena Rapid Clear Exfoliant and I love it! It makes my skin feels so clean!

Non Beauty
-Beyoncé's album Beyoncé is absolutely amazing, check it out if you haven't already!
-I watched several movies this month since I was on vacation for a majority of the month. I'm going to be making some MOTW featuring a few but my favorite has been One Day, which made me cry so so much. Here's the trailer for those of you who are interested!

-As for my favorite book of the month.... It's no secret that I love cinema and all that stuff and I recently bought a book called Conversations with Woody Allen: his films, the movies, and moviemaking by Eric Lax. I think it's an interesting read for anyone who's into cinema or a fan of Woody Allen! It's also a nice book to leave on your coffee table!
-I didn't know whether to include this in my favorites or not but I thought, why not? I got a box set of Friends for Christmas and I love it so much. My obsession with Friends has been rekindled.
Music
Blow- Beyonce
Talk Dirty (feat. 2 Chainz)- Jason Derulo
Neon Lights- Demi Lovato
Love Me Again- John Newman

Also here's my favorite quote this month:

I rarely do this but I saw a youtube video by Savannah Brown and I thought it was amazing so I wanted to share it with you!

Hope you all had a nice January! Happy February!

♡ Style Dupe: Ariana Grande ♡

It's been forever since I've done a style dupe post so I thought what better way to kick off the series then by doing a style dupe on Ariana Grande, who has amazing style. If you're not familiar with my style dupe series then I basically just tell you how to incorporate someone's style, in this case Ariana Grande's, into your wardrobe for cheap! If you want me to dupe a specific person then make sure to tell me in the comments!

Here are a few others I've done:
Kylie Jenner
Crystal Reed
Alli Simpson

As always here's a collage so you can get a feel of her style!
Make Up:
-MAC Candy Yum Yum
-Maybelline Falsies
-China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy
-Too Faced Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush
-Too Faced Bulletproof Brows

-Let's start off with the floral dress, as you can see from the collage she wears a lot of dresses/rompers and a lot of them are floral printed so I made sure to include them. The dress is from Boohoo and the floral romper is from Fashion Union. She does vary the prints but mostly it's spring themed patterns!

-If there is one person who can rock plaid it's Ariana, I've seen many pictures of her wearing plaid skirts and she looks fabulous in all of them. The one in the picture is sold at Nordstrom.

-Skater skirts are an absolute must considering the fact that Ari wears them all the time! She varies the colors it ranges from pink to black to white to blue to purple and so on! The black one is from River Island and the gray one is by Maurices. Aeropostale is also selling some really cute skirts in Bethany's clothing line!

-Now onto the shoes, she's always posting pictures of her shoes and most of them are from Chanel and as we all know Chanel is a little expensive and by a little I mean a lot so I found a few dupes. Originally, her floral combat boots are Doc Martens but I couldn't find a picture of it so I'm just showing you this one sold at Nasty Gal but here's the link to the Doc Martens. Moving on to flats, she wears very colorful flats and it's absolutely adorable, the one shown is sold at Macy's. But you can also find really cute flats at Charlotte Russe! Now onto heels, pointy toed heels are her trademark, she usually wears white ones but I couldn't find them in white so the blue ones are from Lord and Taylor. The nude pumps are by Chinese Laundry! The Deja Vu pumps by Steve Madden are also gorgeous but they're pricier than the Chinese Laundry ones but here's a picture of the Deja Vu pumps! Steve Madden shoes have amazing quality by the way!
-I've seen a lot of pictures of her wearing shirts with peter pan collars which for some reason tend to be expensive but if you're still interested Top Shop sells a lot of them! But if you want a cheaper option then get a peter pan collar necklace which you can use with any outfit. The one in the picture is by Forever 21!

-She posts a lot of pictures wearing high knee socks and a lot of pictures of cats so I combined those two and found some knee high socks with cats! They're from Urban Outfitters!

-Since we're talking about cats look at that adorable cat sweater from Mod Cloth!

-Usually when she wears a high waisted skirt she pairs it with a bustier, if the skirt doesn't have a pattern she uses a patterned bustiers and vice versa. The floral one is by Rare London and the white one is by H&M.

-Now onto her hair, she usually pins back the front of her hair using a bow. Bows can be found at a lot of places Icing, Forever 21 and American Apparel, for example. After pinning her hair back, it looks like she curls the tips of her hair using a curling wand with a small barrel, smaller than a 3/4. The one in the picture is a Remington Pearl Wand, which might be a bit thick.

Hope you guys enjoyed this style dupe, stay tuned for more! Make sure to leave suggestions in the comments on who I should dupe next!

♡Best of 2013 Tag ♡

I know this post is BEYOND late but just bear with me ok? Can you believe that 2013 is over? In this post I'm going to be naming my favorites of the entire year of 2013, in other words I highly recommend all these products that I'm going to be listing here. I hope all of you do this tag because I love reading these.... And yeah, let's get started!

PS: For my movies/music/ TV shows and all those random ones, I tried my best to choose things that came out this year so that's why I didn't mention some other ones that I've praised in past posts.

BEAUTY
1. Face product

My favorite face product is most definitely, without a doubt the Nars Sheer Glow foundation in Barcelona. This is a rather pricey foundation ($44) but I have to say it's worth every penny. It is literally my perfect shade and it has amazing coverage, it's definitely buildable. You don't need to wear concealer with this because of the amazing coverage. A little amount of this goes a long way so it'll last you awhile. If you have oily skin then I suggest trying out the Nars Sheer Matte, it's the same thing but for oily skin. I love this foundation and I will most definitely repurchase it, regardless of the price. I made a post on the Sheer Glow a long time ago!
2. Cheek product

I've used so many different bronzers and I've found that a lot of them don't tend to show on my skin tone. I'm not very dark, I'm considered a Medium skin tone but still. Benefit Hoola was a complete waste of money for me but surprisingly one bronzer that worked is the NYC Sun 2 Sun Powder. I've hit pan on it which means I use it a lot.

As for blush my Nars Exhibit A is my baby. I love this product so so much. It's so pigmented and you only need a little bit of product to make this work. It gives you a sort of sunburnt effect but I promos you it looks amazing.
3. Eye product

I'm sorry but I'm going to have to name two products for this.... I'm in love with my Naked 2 palette. I find myself reaching for it constantly whether it's for a casual day out or going out. The shadows are so pigmented and I love it. You should definitely check it out!

Primer wise I'm in love with the Smashbox Photo Finish Lid Primer, I love it so much that I don't even want to try any other one. It makes my eyeshadow look amazing and it stays on for the entire day. It's a bit pricey for just a primer but I think it's worth it.
Another eye product is the Benefit They're Real mascara... Holy lashes! Seriously, this product is amazing, it lasts all days and it gives you length and volume. The only problem is it is quite hard to take off but if you use a make up remover you'll be able to take it off quickly!
4. Lip Product

I am in love with chubby sticks. I haven't tried out the Revlon ones yet but so far I've loved the Clinique ones and the Victoria's Secret ones. I found that chubby sticks last a long time and are very moisturizing. They're also very easy to reapply.
5. Skincare Product

This comes as no shock to anyone but I had to choose my St Ives Apricot Scrub. I ran out of the bigger bottle so I'm just using my travel size because I'm to lazy to run to the store... Oops. I love this product so much, you can actually see the difference after a few uses. It prevents blemishes and blackheads.
6. Nail Polish
I barely use any nail polish so I don't have a favorite, sorry!
7. Hair product
The Batiste Dry Shampoo has been a saver of mine various times so I had to choose it. I love the smell of it, the consistency. I use a hint of brunette because I'm a brunette for the most part and I hate how some dry shampoos leave white residue behind. I think I've gone through like 5 bottles of this product throughout this year. I just really like it.
For shampoo and conditioner I've been in love with the L'Oreal Elvive Triple Resist Reinforcing Shampoo & Conditioner.
8. Body product/Perfume

My favorite perfume would have to be Daisy by Marc Jacobs, I made a post on this a long time ago. I love this scent, I like how it's an appropriate scent for any occasion. It's sweet and subtle, I'm not going to describe the scent because I'm terrible at that but you can visit the Sephora website to find out the notes and all that good stuff!
FASHION
9. Clothing piece

I'm gonna have to go with my inner common white girl and say Victoria's Secret yoga pants. I mean, they're so comfy and they match anything.
10. Accessory

My favorite accessory this year has been watches, I've been using this chocolate/bronze colored ones by Style & Co. that I got at Macy's a lot. I originally wanted to get one from Marc Jacobs that looked similar, it didn't have the little rocks around it but I settled for this one because there was about a $300 difference! It matches all my outfits and I've gotten so many compliments on it... I use others one as well but this would probably be my favorite.
11. Pair of shoes

I never thought I'd like these shoes from Charlotte Russe as much as I did. They're so comfy and they look cute with anything. I was going to get Toms but I couldn't find them anywhere so I got the next best thing.
RANDOM
12. Favorite TV Show
This is where it's going to get tough... I can't pick just one TV show because I watch so many and that wouldn't be fair to them... So I'm going to do a top 4 TV shows!
1. Teen Wolf. If you've read any of my favorites posts then you know that I'm in love with this show. I am beyond hooked. I find myself rewatching episodes over and over and over again. I can honestly say I've rewatched the entire thing about 3 times and yes, that is a lot.
2. American Horror Story. This show is pretty scary for the most part but once you get over the fact that it's creepy/scary then you get so hooked. I don't know what it is about this show but it's just so interesting, you just wanna keep watching to know what's gonna happen.
3. Heroes. Heroes is definitely one of my favorite TV shows of all time, it's so interesting... You can't just watch one episode, it's THAT good. And who doesn't love Milo Ventimiglia?
4. Friends. I can't make a favorites post without Friends. This is another one of my favorite TV shows of all time. And who needs friends when you have Friends?
13. Movie
Once again I'm gonna have to do a top 5. PS: Click on the name of the movie for the trailer.

14. Favorite book

My favorite book this year would probably by Into The Wild by Jon Krakauer. This is the non fiction story of Christopher McCandless, a man who left every behind to explore the world. It's such an inspiring story and it gives me all sorts of feelings. I love it so much and you should definitely either watch the movie or read the book because they're both amazing.

I have to add all of the Hunger Games books to my favorites as well because I couldn't stop flipping through it until I was done. Oh yeah, by the way I am #teampeeta for the win!
15. Food
16. Beverage
Coconut water has been my favorite beverage this year. I began liking it this year and I'm so glad that I gave it a chance. It's hydrating and also really good for you!
17. Favorite song

Once again, I'm going to cheat and do a top 10 rather than just one. How do you expect me to just pick one song for 365 days?

Does music video land under favorite song category? I don't know but I have to take a moment to acknowledge the fact that all of the music videos by The Neighbourhood are amazing and have a message behind them. They're planned out so well and they really impact you. Go check them out. Som of my favorites include Let It Go, Afraid and Female Robbery. By the way in the video of Female Robbery she's speaking french and she says the exact opposite of everything written in the subtitles. Oh yeah and their music is amazing and they're one of my favorite bands this year. I love going to songmeanings.com and figuring out the meaning behind their songs. And, Jesse Rutherford is just so dreamy...

1. Counting Stars- One Republic
2. Ribs- Lorde
3. What Now- Rihanna
4. Just Another Girl- The Killers
5. Let It Go- The Neighbourhood
6. Walks Like Rihanna- The Wanted
7. I'll Be Your Man- James Blunt
8. Far Too Young To Die- Panic! At The Disco
9. Gone, Gone, Gone- Phillip Phillips
10. Story of My Life- One Direction
(Also Chloe (You're The One I Want)- Emblem 3 just so I don't have to do a top 11)

Whether you're going out with your boyfriend for a fancy dinner or hanging out with your girl friends and celebrating Single Awareness Day I'm going to show you a few outfits so you can look good doing whatever it is you want!

This first outfit is pretty dressy so I'd suggest wearing this if you're going out to dinner with your boyfriend or something fancier like that. I'm trying to go with a pink/red theme for most outfits since those are the colors for Valentine's day! The tights are optional but if you live somewhere cold then they're a warm yet fashionable choice! The blazer is also optional. If you're not a big fan of heels then you can wear this outfit with flats or something along those lines!

Messenger Bag- Zara
Crochet Pumps- New Look
Blazer- New Look
Tights- Mod Cloth

This outfit is great if you're doing something that requires moving around a lot like bowling or something like that. This outfit is pretty simple so you can spice it up using make up since there's not many accessories to be worn with it.

Sweater- Chiara Fashion

This outfit is great if you're just going to the movies or just hanging out at your boyfriend's house or something along those lines. It's casual but it's still stylish!

Bracelets- Forever 21
Flats- Aldo

If you're going to be hanging out with your friends then here's a cute spring outfit for you to wear! Once again, if it's cold where you live then throw on some tights and a warm sweater! Protect yourself from the cold! If you're not a fan of heels, flats would look amazing with this outfit!

♡ December Favorites♡

I'm sorry that this post is so late but I don't have wifi so I'm currently typing this from my phone! So if my formatting looks different then that's why! Happy 2014 to all of my lovely readers! Now let's get started with my December favorites!!

PS: I'm sorry about all my spelling mistakes, autocorrect doesn't work with the blogger website! Beauty
-I've been enjoying the MAC Powder Blush duo in Hibiscus Kiss from the Rihanna Collection. It looks so gorgeous and the packaging is beautiful
-I wasn't able to wash my face for a good part of this month because I had stitches so what saved me was the Kleenex Facial Cleansing Wipes, I like them so much they remove all that excess oil off of my face.
-I picked up the Nars blush in Exhibit A and I'm in love. It was a recommendation from gossmakeupartist, he said that it looked good with any skin tone and he was right! Surprisingly, this was my first ever Nars blush and I can't wait to buy more, they're so pigmented and I just really enjoy them!
-I've been loving the Smashbox Soft Lights in Shimmer. It was featured in Jaclyn Hill's favorites and I had to buy it. I use it as a highlighter and it's gorgeous. If you're looking for a new highlighter then is definitely recommend this one, it's marvelous!
-The L'Oreal Everpure UV Protect Spray has been saving my hair from some serious sun damage. It's basically sunscreen for my hair!
-I've also been using my Banana Boat Tanning Oil with carrot and banana extracts like crazy! I've been getting so tan and I'm loving it! The smell is also amazing!
-As for shampoo and conditioner, I've been loving the John Frieda Root Awakening for dry hair, it hydrates my hair to the point where I can see a difference. My hair got very frizzy while I used the Tresseme Thermal Protection Shampoo and Conditioner but these products don't do that!
Non Beauty
-I've already done a post on this but I had to include in my favorites nonetheless. It's the movie Stuck In Love, if you haven't seen my post yet then I suggest you do because i give you an in depth review on it!
- I finally read The Hunger Games trilogy and I love it. Such a great read, read the entire series in three days that's how much I loved it.
-I recently rematches The Kite Runner and was reminded of how much I loved it to begin with. It's such a powerful movie and I have to say I cried a lot. It's the type of movie that leaves you thinking about the story for days at a time. It's amazing and y'all should definitely check it out!
Music
Far Too Young To Die- Panic! At the Disco
Ribs- Lorde
First Day Of My Life- Bright Eyes
