♡ 5 Minute Makeover ♡

Hi guys,

First of all, I'd like to apologize for my lack of posts lately, I recently got a new puppy and he's got my hands full! I will most likely make a post about him later so I'll save the details.... Anyways!! Ever have one of those days when you literally hop out of bed and you have to go out but still want to look good? I've got just the thing for you! A five minute makeover... I will show you some cosmetic items that will make you look effortlessly good! Let's get started!

Ok so I didn't number the items because I feel like this one is pretty self explanatory, I laid out a simple yet cute outfit. Which is just a plain white shirt tucked into some high waisted shorts with a cardigan and a bold print scarf to stand out. For shoes, just pick whatever! I'd go for some white converse! For hair just spray some sea salt spray for some texture comb it through and then put it in a high ponytail. For make up, I didn't choose a foundation because I feel like that takes time but if you have a little over five minutes go for a BB cream or a CC cream! Under the eyes use a highlighter, I chose the MAC Prep + Prime Highlighter which I haven't used yet but I've heard really great things about it! What this is going to do, is it's going to give you a very awake and energized look. For blush go for a very rosy pink color like the MAC Temperature Rising blush from their new collection, this will give you a flushed yet awake look. For eyes, using the pencil eyeliner just apply that on the outer corner of your eyes which will make your eyes appear bigger which is great and for lashes just use some of your favorite mascara! I like the falsies because it makes my lashes look amazing! Lastly, we cannot forget about our eyebrows so right under the arch apply the Benefit High Brow which will make your eyebrows seem taller (don't know if that's the right word) then normal which, once again, gives you a very refreshed look!

♡ Get The Look: Taylor Swift People's Choice Awards ♡

Happy June! To kickstart this month I'm back with another remake! Some of you might be getting tired of these posts but I found that these are the ones that most people like! I loved Taylor's make up for the People's Choice Awards and I finally decided to remake it! I love heavy eye make up as you probably noticed! Also if you didn't know Taylor won the best country artist award! Lately I've been trying my best to make all tutorials mostly drugstore products because I'm aware that not everyone has access to high end products. Anyways let's get started!

-As always let's start off with priming our faces, just use any primer you want! For foundation use a satin finish foundation or one with a natural finish like the Maybelline Fit Me. Set that with some setting powder!
-Now you can just contour your face! I'd just apply some bronzer to my cheeks, you can use the Sleek contour kit!
-It seems to me like she's not wearing any blush because the focus of this was meant to be the eyes! For eyes start off with a brown eyeshadow base like the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Tough As Taupe. To outline the outer corner we're going to use a very light yet shimmery gold color like the Rimmel London Mono Eyeshadow in Gold Rush. For the crease we're going to use a very warm orange brown color like the Covergirl Queen Collection eyeshadow in Gold Star, apply it with a wind wiper movement across your crease.
-Now just line your top lid using a liquid or gel black eyeliner. I prefer using a liquid eyeliner like the Line Stiletto Ultimate Precision liquid liner!
-It doesn't look like she's wearing any lipstick but just so I don't leave you guys with nothing, try the MAC Honeylove lipstick... Sorry for picking a MAC lipstick once again but it's just the best!

♡ Make Up Mayhem Day 13: Selena Gomez Come and Get It Tutorial♡

So a few days ago I finally watched Selena's music video to Come and Get It, the song is stuck in my head right now, just so you know.... If you haven't yet then go check out the music video right here! The whole time I was watching all I could think about was how perfect her hair and make up looked! So I decided to remake it :) I know I do a lot of these posts but I just really like them! So let's get started!

-As always let's start off by priming your face! As most of you probably know I've really been liking my VS Pro Primer!

-Next use a satin or dewy finish foundation like the Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid foundation! Set that with a powder like Rimmel Stay Matte powder!

-Now using a contouring kit like the Sleek Face Contour Kit, take a kabuki brush use the bronzer and apply it to your cheeks and top of your forehead. Now using the highlighter, highlight your nose, forehead and chin.-Start by applying an eyeshadow primer like the ELF eyeshadow primer. For eyeshadow we're going to be using the Maybelline Sunbaked Neutrals Expert Wear palette, take the dark beige color and apply that all over your lid. on the crease and brow bone apply the darkest brown and then take a lighter brown and apply over the crease. Now using the Scandaleyes Shadow Stick in Blackmail apply that on your outer corner and your outer lower lash line.
-To finish the eyes, using a black liquid eyeliner like the Rimmel Glam'Eyes liquid liner, line the outer upper lash line.
-Now for the lips, she's using a bright apricot color like the MAC Ablaze just apply that on your lips!-This last step is optional but you can use a setting spray like the Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray!I tried to make mostly drug store products but I just really enjoy MAC lipsticks!

♡ Make Up Mayhem Day 10: Get The Look: Crystal Reed ♡

I'm so excited for this post! To make it short I absolutely love Crystal Reed, she's gorgeous and definitely one of my favorite actresses! I'm a huge Teen Wolf fan and I can't wait for season 3 aka June 3rd hurry up! Although I am pretty upset that Colton Haynes won't be in this season but he's in Arrow so I should start watching that! I'm sorry for babbling but I'm just so excited! If you haven't watched Teen Wolf yet then go watch it! I'm probably going to rewatch the whole series this weekend, just saying.... I'll definitely make a post dedicated to the season 3 premiere. Anyways back to Crystal! She's gorgeous and I love her style. She looked amazing at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards and I wanted to share her look with you guys! Let's get started....

-Her make up is super natural so there's not really much to say!
-Start off by of course priming your face! Then go ahead and apply your foundation and set that with some setting powder.
-Fill in your eyebrows using a pencil like the Anastasia Brow Wiz.
-For blush she's wearing a very light pink color like the Maybelline Bouncy Blush in Candy Coral!
-For lips she's also wearing a very light pink almost nude color! Like MAC Myth!
-I don't think she's wearing eye shadow but you can just apply a beige color all over your lid.
-For lashes, start off by curling your lashes and then apply a volumizing mascara. I'd choose the Benefit They're Real mascara because it's amazing!
-Apply some black liquid eyeliner on your upper lash line! I like the ELF one!
-Now you're done with the make up! Told you it's simple!

♡ Make Up Mayhem Day 4: Bella Thorne MTV Movie Awards Make Up and Outfit Remake ♡

I know what you're probably thinking.. Another remake? And yes this is another remake! But I absolutely love this look and I promise that the next fews looks will totally be worth it! If you want to know how to get Bella's look just stay tuned!

-As always just start off by applying your favorite primer to prep your skin! 
-If you look close enough you will notice that Bella actually has some freckles and some visible pores. If you also have some visible pores I recommend using the Benefit Porefessional! If you have freckles and want to cover them up then use a concealer over that. You can also use concealer to cover dark circles under your eyes. I use the MAC Pro Long Wear. For concealer, I usually use one shade lighter than my skin tone.
-After concealing your skin just use some foundation! After foundation just set that with a powder. I like the Neutrogena Skin Clearing Mineral Powder.
-For brows, just fill in your brows using a brow powder or if you don't own a brown powder then you can use a matte eyeshadow the same color as your eyebrows.
-Now apply an eyelid primer! On the inner corner use a white shimmery eyeshadow, like the Rimmel London Glam Ice. Beneath the lower lash line and the rest of the eye, trace with a gold color using Maybelline Color Tattoo in Gold Rush.
-If you usually don't use fake lashes often then this part might sound difficult but it's not don't worry! Using some small scissors, maybe nail scissors trim some fake eyelashes. You're going to apply the eyelashes on the outer lash line. You can use the Sonya Kashuk Full Eyelashes. To learn how to put on the fake lashes then I recommend looking it up on YouTube, you'll find a much more detailed video on it then just me typing about it!
-Line your upper lash line using some black liquid liner! Blend your real lashes with the fake one using mascara.
-Now for the lips she's just using a nude gloss. You can use the Revlon Colorburst Lipgloss in Bellini.
-That's it for make up!

♡ Kylie Jenner MTV Movie Awards Make Up and Outfit Remake ♡

Hi guys! Today I'm going to be showing you guys how to remake Kylie's look from the MTV Movie Awards a few weeks ago!


Kylie had a dramatic eye make up look and it looked amazing!

-Start off my applying your primer! I'd go for one like the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer. Follow by applying your foundation, her foundation has a very satin like finish. So when you're picking out your foundation for this look try going for one with the words 'satin finish' on the bottle! Then just set that with an invisible setting powder, you can use the ELF High Definition setting powder for this!
-To prevent the eyeshadow from creasing or anything like that, apply an eyelid primer! To be 100% honest I haven't actually found one that I really like yet so I'm just settling for the ELF eyelid primer! 
-Using an angled eyeliner brush take a light brown color like the light brown in the Maybelline Sunlit Bronze quad. Use your brush to apply the eyeshadow, not on your waterline but right beneath it, lining your eyes. 
-On the actual lid, apply a medium brown, like the medium brown in the quad previously mentioned. Use the darker brown to line the lower water line of the inner corner and the outer corner. On the inner corner, use a champagne color and use that on the brown bone like the Command by Sigma. Now to top off the look, use your favorite mascara and done!
-Using an illuminator like the Benefit High Beam, high light the high points of your face like the chin, cheek bones, forehead and the nose!
-Fill in your eyebrows with something like the NYX Cake Powder!
-To finish the look, Kylie's using a pink lipstick! You can use something like the MAC Viva Glam Nicki 2 Lipstick! That's the finished make up look!

Now onto the outfit!

-Let's start off with her skirt. She's wearing a long Taupe/Nude color pencil skirt! A gorgeous pencil skirt that you can purchase would be the American Apparel Sweater Knit pencil Skirt in the color Camel. It's priced at $36.00 and it's shown below!
-Shirt: For the shirt you can just use any white tank top basically. She used a white cropped tank top. To make this an everyday look you can just use a regular white tank top.
-Shoes: Kylie's wearing some Steve Madde pointy toed pumps I'm pretty sure. Steve Madden heels are usually more than $60.00 US dollars depending on the shoes. So I found this nice alternative, showed below, which is a pointy toed nude pump from Charlotte Russe, that is on sale for $12.99!
-Her necklace is a gold statement chain. An affordable version would be the Forever 21 Popcorn Chain Link necklace priced at $8.80, showed below. Her bracelets are the Cartier Love bracelets priced at $6358, which she uses as bangles. If you don't want to pay that much for bracelets then you can stick to the Forever 21 Love Bangle Set priced at $7.80 and shown below!
-And since it's still not summer for some of you yet or if you're going into winter and it's getting a little chilly. Then you can just use a cute cardigan over this! Like the Urban Outfitters one linked below for $14.99!
