♡Spring Makeup Preview♡

Spring is here! The season of pastel nails and floral prints! I decided to make a post rather similar to my last post (Summer Preview), a make up version but for spring. I've been doing some research by reading some Vogue and searching through a few blogs for the spring make up previews, this is basically a summary of it and how to embed it into your everyday make up routine! Hope you enjoy!

The first thing I noticed was red lips! This is perfect for all of us girls who love lipstick but hate looking overdressed! We'll no longer have that problem!

The first red lipstick that I love and use whenever possible is my Rimmel London Lasting Finish Lipstick in Jet Set Red 180. I couldn't find a link to this actual lipstick on the Rimmel London website so they might have discontinued this or changed the shade's name to 'Alarm'. I'm not too sure because I haven't gotten the chance to go to store and buy the lipstick in alarm. But here is a picture of the Jet Set Red and the Alarm. Matte lips will be really in as well so this can be a way to use two trends at once!

I'm also a huge fan of MAC lipsticks, they are super smooth and feel great. They're super easy to apply and you don't have to apply it every hour or so. Here's the MAC Chili. It's more of a brownish red therefor it gives a more sophisticated looks, it looks awesome with a nice updo!
The next trend is bold eye shadow, which is great for us who love to play around with our makeup.

To achieve a bold eye look, we can use everyone's favorite... the Maybelline Color Tattoo eyeshadows! If you haven't tried it out yet, I highly recommend it. They're quick and easy to apply, it stays on for a long time and they're actually very pigmented. For swatches of this product and a review you can check out this super helpful post : Click here!

The next trend is mineral makeup! When I noticed a similar pattern in websites saying that mineral makeup was going to be makeup I was so excited that I actually went out and bought some new mineral blush and eyeshadow, I won't be mentioning what brand due to the fact that I actually haven't gotten the chance to actually test out the product. I love mineral make up, it has such a natural look and feels super light. If you don't know what mineral make up is, it's basically a loose powder type of product who is made with all natural minerals with the purpose to give you some coverage but not clog your pores like normal make up. It feels super light. Some popular brands to try out would be Bare EscentualsEvery Day Minerals. Karissa (saturdaynightsalrite on youtube) made a video talking about the Mineral Makeup Market and she's hosting a mineral give away on her channel so go check it out! If you've never tried mineral make up a great way to start is the Bare Escentuals' Get Started Kit it's a great way ti get started and it's only $30 dollars! You can click here to check that out!

Bold Colors are also going to be in. I was actually really excited about this one too. I'm actually going to be making a tutorial with this trend soon, so be on the look out for that! The best part about this trend is that it's completely affordable, you don't have to go out of your way to purchase some bold lipstick. You can just purchase some at your local drugstore. The accessibility is what I love about this!

Like I said before, this is extremely easy to find and add into your look. If you're going out to lunch with some friends put on some lipstick that matches your outfit. If you're going clubbing, put on some silver eyeshadow. Or if you're just going to school, you can always just paint your nails.

Shades of brown and shades of pink. Not at the same time! But if you want to then by all means you can do that. I'm actually a huge fan of brown eyeshadow, it looks so flattering on everyone. Pink can look good but only if used correctly! I'm one of those unlucky people who does NOT look good in pink, but who knows maybe I'll find a way to use pink and look alright. I might actually make a tutorial on this as well but I'm not sure yet!
