Surprise surprise, another post! March Madness is only getting started!
I did this same post last year and a lot of people seemed to enjoy it so I guess this is going to turn into an yearly kind of thing. I've researched on various websites and magazines to see what the trends of spring 2014 will be and I'm going to show y'all and tell you how to incorporate it into your wardrobe for cheap.
Pastels

Pastels are always trends during spring time, whether it's on clothes, nail polish, lipsticks, it doesn't matter. Pastels are just always in. This trend was seen on many designers such as Jason Wu, Prabal Gurung, Rebecca Taylor, amongst others.
If you're not sure what pastels are here are some pastel colors:

American Apparel is the queen of pastels so keep that in mind if you're looking for some!

Wide Leg Pants

Last year harem pants and drop crotch pants made quite the comeback and now it's time to go back to the 70s trend that we all loved oh so much. Wide leg pants. This is a great trend because it totally slims down your legs! Wide leg pants were seen by designers/brands such as BCBG, Trina Turk, Rose Assoulin.
How do you incorporate this into my wardrobe? I'll show you!

Floral

harpersbazaar.com Alberta Ferretti |
It's not news to any of us, people obsessed with fashion, that floral is a trend this spring. But this year the floral trend is being mixed with the whole graphic trend. Basically the goal is to stand out. The floral trend has been seen on the runway with so many designers such as: Alberta Ferretti, Christian Dior, Balenciaga, Marni, Dries Van Noten, Emporio Armani, Christopher Kane, amongst many more.
It's fairly easy to incorporate floral into your wardrobe. Forever 21 has a whole page dedicated to floral on their website. Here's a few of my favorites:

Fringe

No, not hair fringe! Hanging threads fringe! I think every trend report I read, keep in mind I've read plenty, talked about fringe being a trend. Who showed fringe in their designs? Rodarte, Derek Lam, Erdem, Missoni, J.W. Anderson, Calvin Klein, Altuzarra, Proenza Schouler, amongst others.

Graphic/Pop Art

The question isn't who showed pop art in their designs, it's who DIDN'T show pop art in their designs. This trend was seen on designs by Prada, Céline, Chanel, Valentino, Jil Sander, Christopher Kane, Kenzo and many many more. As you can blending into the crowd isn't exactly the goal this year.
